The structure of this composition corresponds to the classical AA1 form, using blues melodies and harmony, as well as shuffle rhythm.
The challenges posed by this particular score are mainly with regards to articulation and rhythm intensity in all the parts. The first note of each 1/8th notes triplet grouping or 16th note rhythms should be played short always where is written. Throughout this chart, the band should concentrate on playing loose and relaxed feeling by holding back their 8th note figures to prevent rushing. Dynamics are always important to a polished performance too.
