The methodology of logopaedics is located at the borderline of two disciplines: philosophical knowledge manifested in the methodology of science and knowledge in the area of logopaedics. The methodology of logopaedics is a specific academic discipline since logopaedics is an academic discipline and its research methodology constitutes an element of general research methodology.
Does logopaedics have good research methods: undoubtedly yes, and the case study, commonly used in other areas, is one of them.
Case studes are generally accepted as basic methods of clinical analysis, including the logopaedics analysis. The method, despite numerous descriptions of efficient practical application, has not been described yet from the methodological pint of view.
