This process has been observable for a long time and its intensity is constantly increasing. Powerful and rapid technological development significantly affects not only research and technological development, but also industry, services, agriculture, and private life. In the context of the global economy, worldwide robotisation
and artificial intelligence are developing, along with a new field referred to as the Internet of Things.
With an increasing intensity, the changes initiated by technological and social development can also be observed in the discourse about technical education at primary and high schools. It drives the transformation processes in theory as well as in teaching practice.
