Opis
This book includes a proposal of activities aimed at developing and improving speaking
skills. Thematic arrangement of units centres around universal issues and enables students to express themselves on a given topic. The proposed activities are intended for pair and group work as well as individual consideration.
Vocabulary practice teaches, activates and consolidates vocabulary necessary to discuss a particular topic. The exercises intended for this purpose involve word formation,
phrasal verbs, collocations and idioms.
At the final stage of each units, students deliver speeches on the discussed issues. They respond to quotes on a particular topic or enlarge on the ideas formulated in questions thus having a chance to gain confidence in expressing themselves.
