Opis
The English Department of the Institute of Modern Languages at the University of Zielona Góra has been involved in numerous academic events and publications concerning, among other things, linguistics, translation and language acquisition.
The prezent volume reflects our interest in these areas. It contains articles of distinguished authors working abroad (Mary Besemeres and Anna Wierzbicka, Eleanor Rosch, David Singleton and Paul Nation) as well as colleagues developing thier academic interest in Poland. Such a collection of articles popularises scientific contributions of acknowledged linguists and enables an exchange of thought in the academic society.
